It’s insane how much CEOs make for what they do (or don’t do in this case). They make more than rockstars and professional sports players (who are also overpaid IMHO). It’s nice to see an article exposing some of these companies who basically stealing from their stockholders by [tag]overpaying their CEO[/tag] while he runs the company into the ground.
I must admit I’m saddened to read that Sun Microsystems is one of the companies that is going down while their CEO gets rich. Sun has contributed a great deal to the internet and computing over the years and has been around since nearly the beginning of modern computers (Ones that fit on a desk that is). My advice to Suns Board of Directors? Fire him, pay him whatever his insane severence package is and bring on someone that doesn’t think he’s a rockstar. It’s obvious there is a major issue with your management or board when a company with so many talented employees freefails for 4 years straight.
