HP is having 50 different bloggers around the world give away $6,000 worth of computer equipment. It is a pretty cool (and fun) contest. I have entered a few of the contests, though haven’t won yet. (We can all hope right?)Really the best part of this contest for me has been discovering some new blogs.
- Tax And Spend: Hoeven Announces Plans For A 26% Increase In Government Spending

Rob from SayAnythingBlog has a great recap of Hoeven’s tax plan for the next fiscal session. (Every 2 years in ND.) This is a 26% increase in government spending – on the heels of a 24% increase in spending during the last session!Hoeven’s budget requests $3.11 billion in state general fund spending from July 1, 2009, until June 30, 2011, an increase of 26.4 percent.

Posted on Monday, December 1st, 2008 in house – Comments: (0)Well, playing catch up after the holiday break, but Sparky for one did not seem to approve of everyone returning to a normal schedule.I suspect this was in response to him being left alone for the first whole day in a week. Bad dog! (The shredded cardboard was spread fairly evenly between the kitchen and the living room.
